The VDI (The Association of German Engineers) - Technical Division Building Services will host the REHVA Annual Meeting 2014 in Düsseldorf. From 28th to 30th April 2014, leading experts from the international building services community will be guests in Germany. More than 150 visitors are expected, when the VDI welcomes the members of REHVA, the Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations.
REHVA-internal meetings and the REHVA General Assembly will be held around the technical Conference “Energy efficient, smart and healthy buildings” that will be held on the 30th April 2014. The conference language is English.

Conference „Energy-efficient, smart and healthy buildings“
The REHVA Annual Conference is organized by the VDI-Society for Civil Engineering and Building Services in the Maritim Hotel Düsseldorf Airport. It takes place during the REHVA Annual Meeting.

REHVA, The Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning Associations is the leading professional organization in Europe, dedicated to the improvement of health, comfort and energy efficiency in all buildings and communities. REHVA connects European professionals in the area of building engineering services and represents more than 110 000 engineers from 26 European countries. REHVA ́s main activity is to develop and disseminate economical, energy-efficient and healthy technology for building services.
REHVA is a leading organization in Europe in the improvement of energy efficiency use of renewable energy sources in buildings and communities to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions. The objective of REHVA is to develop and disseminate technical information for the benefit of REHVA members and supporters, enhance development of standards and research on the European level, and increase the REHVA participation and visibility.

• REHVA Research projects

Many other interesting topics will be covered and some case studies will be presented.

With this conference we would like to give reports about the work of REHVA in different European projects and the benefit for the member associations. We would also like to present some of the main topics of the work of VDI and how these can be used by the other members.

The scope of the conference will be to offer researchers, industry, building owners, end users, consultants, engineers, architects, policy-makers, etc., a platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge and innovative technical solutions.
