7th edition of the international Exhibition on pools in Italy
From 19th to 21st February the Bologna Exhibition Centre will be the venue of the one international Exhibition on Pools and Spas in Italy: ForumPiscine.
This is one of the main international trade exhibitions thanks to the ever growing number of exhibitors and qualified visitors: last edition recorded + 20% visitors in comparison to the previous one.
Early on 30th September the event registered +58,6% applications for the Expo
The Italian market is the third in Europe 8,000 open structures, 18,000 new pools every year and almost 6 million people practise water exercise, in particular swimming is the most popular sport in Italy.
ForumPiscine 2015, join the party
Since 2009 it `s been the point of reference in Italy for designers, architects, technicians and installers, but now ForumPiscine is also an important meeting point for foreign companies whose turnover has increased in the Bologna exhibition, thus they give ForumPiscine a prominent place in the calendar of international trade fairs.
The 7th edition of ForumPiscine - scheduled from Thursday 19th to Saturday 21st February 2015 - will take place in parallel with the 16th edition of the twin-event ForumClub, the leading b2b event in Europe for fitness and wellness, this way creating a unique event in terms of products displayed and interconnections among complementary sectors: from water-related structures to hotels, from fitness to health issues, from wellness areas to sport plants.
The Exhibition will take place in Hall 19 at the Bologna Exhibition Centre, where there will be also technical workshops and free meetings for visitors organized by exhibiting companies and trade associations. The scientific Organizers Editrice Il Campo are in charge of the international Congress of ForumClub-ForumPiscine, that will take place in the close Palace of Congresses: three days of education and update activities tailor-made for specific professional roles, with the contribution of trade associations. Each operator can choose the most suitable ones according to his/her needs among: management issues, instructors area, commercial and sport topics, as well as a special path dedicated to aquatic management.
On Friday 20th February Hall 19 will be the venue of the Italian Pool Award ceremony for the traditional categories of Public Pool (indoor and outdoor), Private Pool (indoor and outdoor with free and geometric shape), and for the new categories of Bio Pools and Special Facebook.
As for social networks, we have recently created the ForumClub-ForumPiscine 2.0 Group on Facebook as virtual discussion point to develop and enhance the event thanks to the exchange of information, debates and discussions among operators.
The deepest pool in the world was inaugurated
Was inaugurated Y-40 The Deep Joy, the deepest pool in the world inside the Hotel Terme Millepini at Montegrotto Terme (Padua, Italy).
Conceived and designed by Architect Emanuele Boaretto and then built in one year by Boaretto Hotel Group, Y-40 is an excellence for architecture and engineering, especially for the expertise shown by its builders, who have solved all those unexpected problems that had not been considered when the project was first planned.
Y-40 is a thermal water pool dedicated to scuba divers, both for tank and tankless diving. It is open 365 days and reaches the depth record of 40 m (more than a 13-floors building). The temperature of the thermal water is 32-34°C, it has a volume of 4,300 mc and a surface of 21x18 m. There are platforms located at different depths and underwater caves that are used for speleo scuba diving courses from beginners to professionals, as you can see in the video below featuring those lucky scuba divers who tested this record pool for firsts.
Why visit the 2015 edition
If last year we registered +20% visitors in comparison with 2013, the 2015 edition promises to be in constant growth thanks to the important partnerships we have developed, thanks to the side-events we organize (e.g. the Italian Pool Award exhibition and the area dedicated to the projects by young engineers and architects of spas who attend the prestigious Poli Design master program in Milan), thanks to the organization of an international Congress that every year attracts a wide audience of managers and professionals in the wellness, fitness and pool sector.
