On 3rd and 4th November, VdS Loss Prevention (Cologne) and Risk Experts (Vienna) will organise an international expert conference in Istanbul. On this occasion a variety of topics such as Risk Management, Loss Prevention, and Fire Protection will be presented – all having in focus the regional challenges in Turkey.
German, Austrian, and Turkish experts of international experience will impart their practical knowledge in lectures and expert panels. Jörg Wilms-Vahrenhorst, managing director of VdS, and Michael Buser, managing director of Risk Experts, will be pleased to present this conference.

During the 2-day-conference a large variety of topics will be discussed: fire risks, operational hazards, and corresponding protection concepts in view of the specific regional requirements in Turkey, as well as fire hazards caused by insulating material in general and material for building insulation. Moreover, relevant aspects of internationally accepted loss prevention standards and technical guidelines will be brought to mind. Main topics of the conference will be the handling of natural hazards and their legal consequences (liability issues) as well as the challenges of Supply Chain Management and the trade-specific Business Continuity Management. Representatives of international companies with seat in Turkey will polish up the programme with specialised lectures of practical orientation.

In addition to the specialised lectures and interdisciplinary discussions, participants will get the opportunity to visit the accompanying exhibition of German, Austrian, and Turkish companies. Therefore, this conference will be a perfect platform for information exchange on an international level.
Costs for participation amount to EUR 390.00 (plus VAT) per person. Conference language will be English with simultaneous interpreting into Turkish.
