The focus of EE & RE, Smart Cities and LiftBalkans is South-East Europe – a Region with low resource efficiency and with a fossil-fuel based economy strongly dependent on import. Three parallel Exhibitions and Conferences will be held in the period 5-7 April in Sofia, Bulgaria and they are organized by Via Expo. 

Leading companies have confirmed their participation. Among them are Ambitermo, Martin, Polytechnik Schmack Biogas, Costruzioni Nazzareno S.r.l., HERZ Energietechnik, Eltrak Bulgaria, Metecno Bulgaria, Vilmat, etc. An Italian Group Participation and an Austrian Pavilion will be realized. 

The exhibitors will showcase biogas plants, turnkey biomass combustion plants for combined heat and power generation, wood pellets and waste-to-energy systems. Among the exhibits will be also photovoltaics, small wind turbines and inverters, geothermal heat pumps, cogeneration technologies, insolation panels, ICT for smart buildings, etc. A new range of ultra-fast MPPT suitable for small and large PV installations and battery chargers will catch the visitors` interest. 

Strong international presence and practice-oriented conference topics will ensure great knowledge exchange. Speakers from Euroheat & Power, PU Europe, Buildings Performance Institute Europe, Architects` Council of Europe, Innovation Norway, Covenant of Mayors, Calypso Networks Association, etc. will take part in the SEE Conferences. For the first time the Conference puts an accent on geothermal energy and representatives of the International Geothermal Association (IGA) and European Geothermal Energy Council will speak about tendencies, best practices and supporting schemes.
